Silver State Litigation Update
On May 16, 2008, Pinnacle Law Group, LLP filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of former students of the defunct Silver State Helicopters vocational school ("Silver State") against two of the lenders that partnered with Silver State, KeyBank and Student Loan Xpress ("SLX"). The lawsuit against SLX produced a settlement. That settlement is currently being reviewed for final approval by a federal district court judge in Tampa, Florida. When the court issues a decision we will update this page accordingly.
The suit against KeyBank is ongoing. We will update this page with new and/or court rulings as warranted.
